Liz looks at him and says, “We had a picture of one and I got curious.” She nods slowly and says, “I don’t think it was too disappointed. It took a decent chunk out of my arm and shattered the bone easily.” She looks at Ares a moment as her mind began to wonder a bit. She tenses up not seeing any of her fellow scientists among the people. A male Na’vi says, “The speaker of Eywa saw your people unwelcome of this teaching. Only you passed the test.”

Ares blinked in surprise before looking over at her'' sorry, i did not know they did not pass.. '' he looked a little unnerved about that but then again he couldn't change the out come of what his leader and speaker of Eywa decided. '' they would have been escorted home safely Liz. do not worry we are not vicious to attack those that are unwelcome.''

Liz stands uneasy for a moment as this sunk it. She says, “They wasted all that work. They ruined the program already and it is only the first day.” She clenches her hand into a fist and says, “The government is not going to like this at all.” She looks at Ares and says, “It is not your fault. You can’t control the outcome of the tests.”

he frowned.. '' you passed.. your people should atleast like that. you are the one who will learn everything, besides. there can be more i guess.. '' shrugged before lightly placing a hand on her shoulder'' you are the lucky one.. and thats what this is all about right? finding someone to build a strong treaty ?"

Liz nods and says, "Yes but if we would known that they could not pass, we would have wasted money on growing Na'vi body for them. We could have used the money on our plant research. It would have help us a lot more." She looks in his eyes. (Have you heard of the anime called Avatar: The Last Airbender?)

((uhh a little bit. i think i have seen a anime called avatar though. i am not really caught up alot on my movies))

he sighed before shrugging as he leaned back against the tree and watched her.. '' true but no one really can predict an outcome of anything.. come on. we have much to do and so little time to do it'' he jumped down to another tree before looking over at her, waiting.

Liz looks at him and follows him easily up the tree. She says, “I know I have a lot to learn in so little time Ares.” She goes up the tree like he does as her mind goes back to the task at hand. She listens as she could hear the speaker of Eywa talking to a Na’vi warrior who escorted the others back to the colony.

he just shrugged as he glanced back at her'' just saying.. do you know how to hunt?" he was trying to get a time line of how much he needed to teach her and exactly what it is that she needed to learn, it was obvious that she know some things but not others.

Liz looks at him and says, “No I don’t know how to hunt but I am willing to learn.” She tenses up a minute as she senses something close by as she holds still in the tree. She looks at the ground to see a mother cat creature with three cubs and she smiles some. She looks at Ares a moment before looking back at them.

he stopped before looking at where she was looking before smiling. '' she is beautiful yes?" he looked over to her before moving again, quietly this time so as not to disturb the feline family '' if you treat them with the out most respect, they will know it. and respect you in return. only time they attack usually is when they are hungry or extremely ticked off. '' he glanced at her before smiling'' we will hunt then.''

Liz moves along with him quietly trying to keep her distance and let the family be. She looks at Ares calmly and nods to him as she wanted to learn as much as she could without over loading herself. She says, “I don’t know how long it will take me to learn how to hunt. I have not even learned how to hunt on my own planet. My father was afraid I would get hurt.”

he frowned before glancing over at her.. '' it is not hard liz. we can target practice with the bow and arrow for a while before we actually hunt.. '' he smiled'' and its small game we will hunt. so you will not get hurt from them. do not worry liz you are a very smart woman. and this part of it will not over load you to much.''

Liz looks at him and nods slowly as they made it where others were practicing their hunting skills. She is handed a bow and a dozen arrows to shoot the targets so she starts to practice taking time to learn things she needed to. She sighs some as she shoots at the targets.

he glanced at her as he watched..'' you alright? '' he grinned as he leaned foward'' if you do good.. we will see about you getting your first flying lesson'' reaching up he readjusted her arms before smiling'' definitely a fast learner''

Liz looks at him a moment as she was not use to him being so close just yet. She smiles some and continues to practicing her shooting without a word. Now was not the time to tell him about the connection she felt for him. She could not bring that up with him until she was one of his people. Her eyes stay focused on the targets as she shoots.

he smiled, looking at her as he stood close, he was definitely feeling a stronger connection but didn't say anything just yet. '' your doing good. you should almost be ready to try your hand at a moving target.''

Liz smiles a little and looks around tensing up a bit. She says, “Something is wrong with the colony. I have to see what is wrong.” Back at the colony, more marines were being put inside the colony. The people who were suppose to be in the avatar program were organizing something. A man says, “Only one person was allowed to stay with the Na’vi. We have to figure out why.”

he frowned before nodding'' then let us go then.. if something is wrong i need to know so i can tell my people. '' he took the bow and arrows from her before taking her hand and tugged her back towards the colony, moving swiftly through the trees, didn't take long before they where back, even he could see the extra activities. '' you should go talk to them.''

Liz quickly goes inside the gates and talks to the others. They were not happy that only she passed the test the speaker did on them. She glares at them and says, “Our people has been corrupted by greed and war. I am one of the very few who are not. So I have been permitted to stay and learn among them.”

he waited outside, pacing slightly in concern, glancing at the army guards who where keeping an even closer eye on him then before. he really hoped nothing was wrong. sighing he leaned against one of the large trees. keeping a good eye on the gates.

Liz sighs as she gets out of the gate and makes her way back to his side. She says to him, “They think your mother arranged it so I would be the only one to pass. They are so badly looking for a reason to start a war.” She moves her way back to the training grounds not needing to follow him back this time.

he frowned as he followed her back t his time'' so ... what is going to happen ? are they going to attack us?" he was not happy about this and more worried then anything.'' i need to know liz.. my family could be in danger.''

Liz looks at him and says, “They want something from your land but I don’t what it is. All I do know is that they want your people to move away from home tree. Which I know is very hard for your people to do. But if you don’t then my people will make you move by force.” She sees the link up machine she was in being moved so no one could interfere with her job.

he frowned, before sighing, his people was definitely not going to like this'' all because only you where able to come in ? i do not like this at all. i have to inform my people''he looked up . confused before looking at her.. '' what is that?"

Liz says, “Remember the machine I told you about that allows my mind to link to this body? Well that is what that flying machine is carry so no one can stop me from learning for you and helping you guys.” She takes him to the speaker of Eywa and says, “Tell your mother everything I have just told you. I need to help my team set up.”
