Rose smiles and gives the kitten more whip cream in a small dish. She says, “Your kitten is out of food. You should pick him some wet kitten food not dry or mixed. The dry food will cut his gums and mixed textures will confuse him.” She lets the kitten eat on the counter so the kitten could get use to the smell of fresh human food.

he frowned even as he worked on his coffee and breakfast'' he's a she rose.. '' he grinned slightly watching the kitten.''' Star normally doesn't like wet food but i will see what i can pick up.maybe try something new. '' he shrugged'' heh she tends to like to steal food off my plates if i leave them unattended to get the phone or something. ''

Rose says, “Well I have already thought of that. It could be the brand of wet food you tried to get her to try. I am going to mix healthy human food with the wet cat food to get her use to eating it.” She finishes making their breakfast and sets everything up on the table. She smiles as she hears Star meow for more.

he shook his head'' your going to turn her into a lazy fat house cat'' he teased laughing softly as he started on his breakfast now. '' hmmmm yummy.. definitely good. '' smiled as he nearly finished his coffee'' well. i don't have to be anywhere until later this afternoon so i think after breakfast we can go shopping. get you whatever you need and what not.. did your friend happen to bring you some extra clothes?" he had to ask just in case he needed to big up a few things for her.

Rose smiles and says sitting down to eat some breakfast too, “Well I am not going to make her fat. What is healthy for humans is healthy for animals too.” She eats slowly as she thinks about things. She says, “Shino got me enough close to last me about a week.” She continues to eat as she was very hungry.

he grinned slightly as he watched the kitten now run around happily, chasing little flecks of light. '' hmmm maybe.. heh just hopefully she don't get too chubby though i think she will work it off with all the running she loves to do. '' he teased, laughing as she tried to attack his toes'' hey now cut that out.. '' he looked over at rose and smiled'' well if you need a few more sets i can get them for you ,i will show you how to work the washer and dryer.. heh those two are really old and sometimes you gotta wiggle the dryer a litle bit to get it to work. ''

Rose looks at the kitten and she says, “True she will most likely run off every carb and calorie of food we give her.” She finishes eating and washes her dishes so they would not have a build up of dirty dishes. She then picks up the kitten gently and kisses her nose. She says, “I have never had a pet. I have always wanted a puppy but I was always afraid my dad would kill it.”

he frowned'' wow, take it your father does not like animals.. '' he shook his head before smiling.. '' a puppy huh.. what kind?" he was curious,watching her play with the kitten. getting up he cleaned up whatever mess he had made before finding his shoes.. '' that reminds me i need to buy some toys for her. heh she seems to have attacked my couch at one point. scratching post i think will be good. ''

Rose laughs as the little kitten gives up and starts licking her fingers. She says, “I was thinking a Lab or a Pug.” She puts the kitten on the couch and keeps playing with her. The kitten tries to hold her arm still with her paws and then she hold her arm still as she plays with the kitten’s little nose.

he smiled'' lab or a pug.. well. i don't know about a lab. since they are diggers.. but a pug i think i can handle. have plenty of room in the back yard for it.. '' he grinned'' sometimes its good to own your own house you know.. '' he glanced out the back before wrinkling his nose. '' damn.. gotta break out the lawnmower again. looks like a jungle out there.. '' he sighed before shaking his head. before looking over at the kitten '' heh thats cute... well you ready? need to get the shopping out of the way before i start the class.''

Rose nods and giggles her arm free from the cat and goes to the door. She looks at the lawn and says walking to his truck, “I would mow it for you but I don’t do so well mowing lawns.” They head to the pet store first since he needed to get Star toys. She goes over to the pup aisle and look for pug puppies. She smiles as she sees a cute little black one.

he smiled and shook his head as he locked up the house'' its ok, heh i have a riding mower i can use since there is no big items out there.. so you relax'' he followed her to the pet store smiling as he picked out little cat toys before finding her looking at the puppies'' well he is a cute one'' he watched the black pug curiously before getting one of the associates to bring the pup out into the little play area.. '' go on rose and see how he reacts to you''

(I found his picture on photo bucket and now I want a pug puppy.) Rose goes to the play area with the puppy and sits down on the floor. The puppy sniffs her and then jumps in her lap giving her kisses on the neck and chin. She giggles and says, “I think he likes me.” She kisses his head and pets him gently.

he smiled as he leaned against the small play pen she was in.. '' well i think your right. '' he smiled as he reached over and lightly petted the small puppy, '' hmmm we can ask them if they can hold the puppy for you so we can get groceries first then come back and pick him up if you like?" the puppy didn't cost that much and if the small pup helped her relax more around him and in his home he would do anything, he wanted her to feel safe.

Rose nods and says, “Okay.” Her eyes were lit up like a little kid with so much happiness. She gets out of the play pen with the pup and asked a work if they put puppies on hold for a bit so they could finish shopping.” The worker nods and takes the puppy gently to his own little pen. She pets the pup reassuringly and says, “Don’t worry hun I will be back soon.”

he smiled watching her before paying for the kitten toys, he would be later with her to pick out dog toys and food and all they needed.. '' don't worry, they will give him a bath and make sure he is all cleaned up and purdy for you '' he smiled as he headed out the door, holding it open for her.. '' they usually go ahead and give the animals their first set of shots sooo i think we can take hi m to a vet to get checked out later if you like. ''

Rose looks at him and says, “I would like that. Now I got to get a name picked out for him.” She slowly goes out the door and says, “I can tell that he is not going to get very big. He could be the runt of the litter.” They head to the grocery store next and she grabs a cart.

he smiled'' well thats fine. pugs usually are not that big anyways. think thats one of the breeds they like to call ankle biters '' he teased, following her as he picked up the dry goods first, leaving the cold stuff for later. '' hmmm i will have to double check the fence later today to make sure there are no gaps he can get through though. but i doubt there is any considering my neighbors don't even have dogs so nothing to dig around the fence. '' he looked over at her before smiling again , picking up several more box's of cereal and oatmeal. made sure he picked up fresh vegetables as well not trusting the canned stuff. '' any particular fruit you like before we pick up the cold goods?"

Rose looks at him and says, “I like peaches and strawberries.” She goes to the meat area and picks out some steaks they could enjoy. She then works her way to the book aisle to see what was is on sale. She picks out a few books and put them in the cart.

he nodded, getting some fresh peaches and strawberries while picking up apple's and banana's as well. placing them in the cart where they couldn't get mushed before getting some fresh bread'' you like wheat or white? ooo steaks'' he eyed them slightly , trying to remember the last time he had steaks but failed at it. ''hmmm i will pick up some corn on the cob as well to go with those. '' he headed to the frozen goods, getting the corn and some ice cream for desert.. '' hmmm could pick up some soda for root beer floats or something. '' smiled looking over at her as he put the things in the cart'' just need to grab milk and juice, with the eggs and bacon and i think we should be done.. ''

Rose smiles and says, “I figured you would enjoy steaks.” She grabs the milk and the other things they needed before heading to the check out. She gets her wallet out and pays for the groceries with cash. She then starts carries the bags out to the car getting all hyper about having a puppy.

he rolled his eyes'' oi , you didn't have to pay for those, you need to save your money darlin'' he took the rest of the bags and loaded them up , helping her before unlocking the other doors for her'' well come on, lets go grab your little fluff pup . i am sure he will be happy to have a good home''

Rose gets in the truck and says, “I have plenty of money Rin. So don’t worry about it.” She smiles as they get back to the pet store and picks up the pup happily. Her eyes light up as she receives kisses from the small pup on her chin. She picks out a dog bed and canned wet dog food to get him started. The pup did not look ready for hard dog food.

he smiled as he picked out the soft chew bones and toys he would need for a healthy play time. plus a flea collar so he wouldn't get fleas. getting a small kennel for him for when the weather was bad outside, he paid for those before loading them up in his truck'' well alrighty then , think we are ready to take the new member of this little family home'' he smiled , lightly petting the pup. '' don't chew the furniture you.''

The pup lets a small bark as his tail was wagging like crazy as they got back to the truck. Rose says, “I think I am going to name him Sparky or Spunky because he is such a playful little thing. I think he will get along with your kitten just fine.”
