Magnus raised an eyebrow when Cayden paused for a moment. He had no idea what had provoked that kind of reaction, except maybe dislike? He got that they all hated Phelan. "Really? Well you two look like you could be twins or something. It's weird" he said, frowning slightly. He wasn't sure them being from the same project would make them look alike, but what did he know about this whole thing? "Okay, well, next question. What kind of experiment exactly are you?" he asked. He had heard about experiments on people before, naturally, but none giving people strange powers like that.

Cayden shook his head, he didn't want to think about being possibly related to Phelan so he stuck with thinking about this next question. "What kind...?" he repeated quietly. He sighed, "Well it was to find out if humans could be evolved beyond what normal humans think of as well...normal. But recently it's been more like, can they turn such evolved humans into weapons of mass destruction." he explained with a shrug. They have done very well with Phelan. Cayden himself wasn't sure if he would deem himself a failure or not though just because his powers were weaker then Phelan's.

Magnus nodded when he recieved his answer. That made sense, but he was slightly surprised that they had gotten so far in their experiments. "Humans can be such power-hungry, selfish idiots" he muttered, shaking his head. "I could take over the world if I really wanted. It would be hard, but I'm sure I could, in a hundred years or so" he sighed, brushing his hair back. It would take an amazing amount of planning and deaths, but he was sure he could. Not that he would want to. It would bring too much attention to him, and the fact that he forever looked nineteen.

Cayden laughed lightly, "That they are...and I think...with these new guys taking over the world is exactly what they had in mind when they continued the experiment. "In a matter of a few years...Phelan and I would probably be powerful enough to destroy the world." he said clapping to show exactly what it would be like. A quick yet drastic increase in gravity where the world would crack and collapse in on itself. He knew Phelan alone in a few years would have the power to sink a continent but he was sure the purple haired man would be dead before that could possibly happen.

Magnus raised his eyebrows, wondering exactly how powerful they were. If Cayden got tired after that bit of using his powers earlier, he wondered what Phelan could do. "That's. . . intense?" he sounded slightly unsure of his word choice, but stuck with it. He was thinking getting rid of Phelan would be a good idea. Before they all died. "Please, refrain from doing so. I've got another few centuries in me still" he didn't plan on dying early. He had no idea how long warlocks could live, but he knew a few that were around 1500, so maybe it was more than a few. "How old are you anyways?" he asked, wondering if his question would be answered.

Cayden smiled and shook his head, "Don't worry I wasn't planning on teaming up with Phelan any time soon." he said. He paused at the question of how old he was before sighing, "Well...technically, I'm a hundred." he finally stated, he didn't want to get into all the technical evolution crap that his mind underwent because it was very confusing and he wasn't even all that sure what exactly happened and how old his mind would be considered...much more then a couple thousand though. "And how old are you? Obviously older then I am, am I right?" he added afterwards.

Magnus grinned when he finally got an answer to the question that Cayden had been avoiding. So he was right in calling him a kid. "Yes, I'm older than you. So looks being decieving or not, you're still a kid" he said, examining his nails as he walked. He needed to touch up the glittery nailpolish when he got home. "I'm eight hundred, give or take a few years. But I don't look it" he shrugged, not exactly caring that he was about nine times as old as the human life expectancy. For a warlock, he was just at the higher part of middle aged.

Cayden sighed, Magnus had been right when he called him a kid but only technically. "Well...I don't look 100..." he said shaking his head. He paused for a moment before saying with a smirk, "You know, my brain was actually aged differently then the rest of my body. Like...adding thousands of years of pressure to graphite to make a diamond." he said with a smirk, "So, if you want to get technical, I am actually. Much older then you are." he said with a smirk and a laugh. If Magnus questioned further he would give him a general number because he wasn't completely sure how the aging process of his mind had changed over the past 100 years.

Magnus nodded in agreement at the fact that Cayden didn't look 100, running his eyes up and down his body, remembering what it looked like without clothes in the way. Definitely not 100. "Really now?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Technically still, I'm older. Well, I've been walking the earth longer. My concious mind is older than yours, no matter how aged your mind is" he reasoned. "How old would your mind be anyways?" he had no idea how the whole thing would work, but he was never really into science.

Cayden sighed, he guessed Magnus was right but in the same sort of sense he knew he wasn't. "Around...six thousand five hundred." he said with a shrug. He saw Shay twitch as though to look over his shoulder slightly but none of the others moved. He had never bothered to tell anyone this information before so he wouldn't have been surprised if they were all listening but it didn't look like they were. He wondered how much longer it would take until they were at the wall. He was glad he had stolen that pass of of Caleb the first time he had met them. Kai had some pretty useful friends, Caleb had real connections, and this pass to the countries was useful beyond belief with it he could bring up to five humans into or out of the country without much question.

Magnus blinked for a moment at the number he was given. "Holy. . . motherfucker" he muttered. That was. . . old. He had no idea how the entire thing would work, or what having that old a mind would actually do. "That's slightly insane. How do humans get to be so smart in their short lives? I'm smarter than the average human, for a few reasons, but there's no way I would be able to figure that out, without using magic" he said, sighing slightly. This entire thing was confusing, and he wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep in his own bed, curled up with his cat.

Cayden laughed slightly, "It's cruel, but I believe I don't think he actually thought it would work, he was just testing it out." he said shaking his head. He didn't like thinking about why he was here, why he was like this, it made his head hurt, despite how evolved his mind was one thing he never really learned about until he experienced them himself were emotions. He knew Phelan still didn't understand them completely. With this evolved mind he was granted his powers on top of comprehending almost everything and easily learning most things he was introduced to. But the way he was created led to a sort of instability in his mind which ended up creating the sort of mode he went into when his emotions were heightened. Phelan was even less stable because they were attempting to make him even more powerful then Cayden when they made him. It would easily take 115 years until Phelan was even as stable as Cayden was, and at 75 years old he was far to young to not be under constant surveillance.

Magnus nodded, wondering what kind of twisted old man had come up with this. For some reason, an old shrivelled hunchbacked man with flyaway wight hair, a lab coat, and squinty eyes popped into his head. "Some twisted old bastard, I assume" he shrugged. That would be one hell of a project to take on, that was all he knew. "So, how did you escape? I doubt they let you go, and I assume it was high secrity." Most places like that would have the higest technology that somebody could get their hands on. And nowadays that was saying something. He was rather interested in how Cayden had pulled that feat off.

Cayden sighed at the next question knowing this one was a bit of a long explanation. "Well..it's not the first time I've gotten out of there." he said with a shrug, "But the second time I followed the path Phelan had used, the stupid scientists working there still don't know about it...I was being transfered from the training room back to my room and just...made a break for it. They have specialized weapons that are powerful enough to break my powers, luckily I only got hit once." He said shrugging, remember the shot he had gotten in his arm when he had escaped. "It's...actually a very long story, and I don't want to explain it all." Cayden said shaking his head with a sigh, running his hand through his hair.

Magnus figured that this one would take a bit of an explaination, but he didn't care. He nodded slowly at the short explaination he was given, before shrugging. "Short version works too. I don't really care whether you explain in excruciating detail or not" he said, ducking under a branch. He really couldn't wait to be back in civilization, where he could walk on the sidewalk on stilettos and still be fine. He had lived in the wilderness before, in forests and on plains, as the world evolved, but he preferred the city completely. It was his kind of scene, full of humans or not.

Cayden nodded, "And I hadn't planned on doing so." he said with a shrug. He didn't have to duck under many branches but he was quite a bit shorter then Magnus. Cayden fell silent looking down at the ground thinking...he let out a sigh, "They're out here...somewhere...and they're looking for me. I don't think I can ever be free...not until their dead." he looked up at Magnus, "I'll be honest, it doesn't matter to me whether Phelan dies or not, as long as they die as well...who knows what sort of shit they will do later on, no one needs to ever deal with what I went through." he said looking in front of him again, his voice was low, his brows were furrowed. He remembered the last time he had seen them had been on the other side of the desert, before they had gone and met Adaline...when he first met Kai, Shay and Risa.

Magnus cursed as tiwgs caught in his hair, but they thankfully came out easier since he didn't have anything in his hair. And it wasn't stuck up in a chaotic crown of spikes, so that helped. He looked down at Cayden and frowned. "How hard can it be to kill them? You were so confident you could kill me, and I'm a warlock, they're human. I'm harder to kill" he pointed out, a bit confused. Surely it would be simple to just kill them the next time he saw them, or if he knew where they were. He figured Cayden must have gone through hell, and felt a little bad for trying to rape him the previous night, but only a little. He had given in in the end anyways.

Cayden frowned at Magnus's point, "For me, it would be very difficult. They know me more then I know myself, they have specialized weapons used for fighting me specifically. If I get to close to them I'm as good as dead." he said shrugging knowing that would just tranquilize him if he were to get in the range. "And...you just aren't as threatening, sure you're powerful but...I just don't see you as a threat." he said with a shrug. He thought for a minute before looking at Magnus and adding, "Well at least...not to my life." He said with a glare, he knew he had been the one to ask for it, but it was all Magnus's fault in the first place, and he was pretty sure he was never going to forgive him for it.

Magnus frowned, but this made sense. If he was some sort of experiment, he would assume that the scientists would know more about him than he did. "Well that's unfortunate. And kindof bullshit" he said, barely avoiding getting his eye poked out by a stick. "Oh, thanks. Way to lower my self-esteem" he muttered to himself. The corner of his lips curled into a smirk at the last part. Taking people's virginity was fun. He couldn't count how many people he had done that to. "I like to consider myslef very threatening. But that might just be intimidation. . . people tend to be freaked out by the amount of glitter and makeup I wear" he shrugged. He didn't care what other people thought, unless it was something about him being hideous or something. Then he would care.

Cayden shrug, "If you wore glasses and a lab coat I might find you a bit more threatening..." he said with a smirk, "But I'm not one to be scared by men in glitter." he said with a roll of his eyes. He looked around, Kai and Adaline were arguing over where they were going again. Cayden would say they might get there within the next hour or so if they were lucky. It was a long walk, but in the past two weeks he had been with these people he had been forced to walk for much long periods of time in worse weather and terrains. Cayden could see people being slightly intimidated by Magnus's height, but aside from that he wasn't someone to be threatened by unless of course they knew what he was. Cayden himself was a bit more intimidating, it was his eyes, and the very visible six pack slightly visible in his mostly open jacket.

Magnus almost grimaced at the thought. "No way you'd catch me wearing a labcoat, ever, and the closest to glasses I'll get is sunglasses" he stated firmly, supressing a shudder. Labcoats were disgusting, and glasses would be just horrid on him. "You should be. Because glitter can be dangerous. Keep it out of your eyes" he advised, in case Cayden ever had a random urge to wear glitter. He doubted that would ever happen, but you never know. "Oh, and by the way" he smirked, eyebrows raising slightly. "You've been infected with glitter disease."

Cayden shook his head with a sigh as Magnus went on about how he would never wear a lab coat. "It's not the glitter itself that's not threatening, it's any man who decides to wear it." his voice trailed off though as Magnus started to go on about Cayden being infected with glitter...Cayden's face spread with a look of shock. "What?" he asked, it was a sharp question but he said it rather quietly. He glared daggers at Magnus, he couldn't see any really obvious glitter on the man, a few specks here and there but nothing really.

Magnus made a face at the comment. Men could be scary as hell and still wear glitter. It was rare, but it had happened. He had seen i with his own eyes. He laughed when Cayden's expession changed. "You heard me. Even if I did just get out of the shower, I'm sure you've got some on you" he said, keeping his voice low. If only they had had sex first and showered after. That would have gotten a rather interesting reaction. It might have included death, but there was no way he would have been able to get rid of the glitter.

Cayden blinked and looked down at his chest, moving the collar around to look around more, he didn't see any glitter. He glared up at Magnus, "You know if I find any I'm going to kill you right? It may be a strain on my body...but I think it's worth it." His glare softened slightly and a smirk came onto his face as he thought about how he would kill Magnus, "Do you think you can guess how I would kill you?" he asked wondering what Magnus thought he would do to him. There were only two really different ways he could kill Magnus with his powers, thousands of others without his powers.

Magnus smirked as Cayden seemed to be looking for glitter. He was sure there wouldn't be much, but you never know. "That's not very nice. But I don't know whether it's in a place that you'll be finding it or not" he grinned, wondering what kind of reaction that would get. It was true, he had to admit. It was quite possible Cayden might have some glitter up his ass. At the question he frowned, thinking for a moment. It had something to do with gravity if it was going to be a strain on his body. "Ehh, what, implode my brain or something?" he took a random guess, pulling up the more effective way to kill somebody that had to do with gravity.
