Drake smiles as she eats and says, "The babies are kids and all kids love sugar. As they get bigger, you will want more sweets and sleep a lot more." He lays beside her and sighs as he slowly listens to the little heart beats of their babies.

"Oh" She smiled "Well that is a nice excuse for eating lots of candy" She smiled "I love jaw breakers I wonder if the baby will too" She continued to eat and then watched him as he laided beside her. "How are they doing?" She asked quietly.

She gently touched his hand and brought it to her lips and kissed it gently and then grinned. "You are going to be a dad baby how does that sound?"

Drake looks at her with a smile and says, “They are doing fine. I think they are resting.” He laughs softly as she made her comment about the sweets. “Just be careful how fast you eat the sweets. I don’t want you to get sick.” He kisses her gently as his eyes turn blood red. He needed to feed soon but he did not want to leave her side.

Brook was relived that that the babies were doing good. She sighed finishing her dessert then put it aside she did eat it a bit fast but surprisly she didnt feel ill, just really tired. She let out a big yawn and snuggled into her blankets.

Her eye lids were getting heavier. "I am a bit tired my love, do you mind if I get some sleep?" She asked she yawned again.

Drake looks at her and says, “Go ahead and rest Brook. I’m going to go feed and make some calls.” He kisses her softly before taking off towards the woods. He takes out his cell phone and calls his aunt. She says to him through the phone, “Well nephew, what have you gotten yourself into this time? You only call me when you are in some form of trouble…” He says, “I got my soul mate pregnant with twin halflings…” She sighs and asks, “Does she want them?” “Yes she wants them.” “Then I will help you…”

Happy that Drake diddnt take offence she could tell that he had needed to feed but also knew that he wouldnt leave her if she was awake. In truth she was really tired. Found it odd since she had just woken up, fed and now she was going back to sleep but when he left she had fallen sleep quickly.

In her dreams she was holding two babies, she couldnt see what gender they were but then a dark shadowing figure came and snatched her babies away and she was left broken and alone. She woke with a start her heart was racing and she was drenched in sweat. She looked around seeing if Drake was back yet if he wasnt she would have a shower to try and clear her mind from the nightmare she just had. She was suddenly craving a chicken burgar and fries and a frosty from Wendys though.

Drake was not back yet he was still making arrangements for his aunt and cousin to come here to help with the babies’ birth. He looks at his covenant as he was the new head of the family. He says, “Brook’s cravings will just grow stronger as she gets bigger with the babies. We must be sure to keep food in the house until she is fully turned by the babies. Then we will get her on animal blood before she gets the chance to feed off a human.”

Not seeing Drake there Brook slowly stood feeling a little dizzy she sent Drake a text, forgetting for a moment that he could read her. She asked about being so dizzy and asked him for the chicken burgar and Large fry with a large pop and a frosty from Wendyys. Then she walked into the bathroom and ran herself a shower. She spent a long time in the shower but had to keep holding on to the bar in the shower. After washing her hair and body she rinced then got out.

She dried herself and made sure to put all her cream on her scars then dressed in a pair of sweat pants and shirt and got out of the bathroom to see if Drake was there with her food now. She knew that she would be hungry but she was thinking this was getting bad.

Drake got her text and got her food with a smile. He texts her back saying dizziness is quite normal. He sat on the bed after he got to her house and opened the window and coming inside. He listens to her heart beat. He smiles at her as she comes out and says, “I got your order my love.” He gets up and kisses her on the forehead.

She didnt think about to look at her texts after her shower but saw Drake and smiled. "Thank you babe" She closed her eyes and he kissed her and then sat down and laid out the food and starting eating. She looked up at him. "I am a bit surprised that the food has stayed down thus far."

She sighed. "So I guess you got my text, I didnt check mine though, so is the dizzyness normal?" She asked as she ate. She looked up at him. "Ohh I am so sorry, how are you feeling, your family your aunt?" She was rambling but she was wanting to see how he was doing too.

(Don’t forget the other one.)Drake nods and says calmly, “Dizziness and nightmares is a common thing as the bond between the babies and you grow stronger.” He watches her eat calm and content. Then he is hit with multiple questions at once. “I am fine my dearest and so is my family. My aunt and cousin will be here in three days’ time. Opal can’t wait to meet you. My aunt is not as joyous.”

Broke licked her lips. "You saw my nightmare?" She asked quietly a bit ashamed that a simple shadow had scared her. But it was the fact that the shadows had taken her babies. She wrinkled her brow while eating her ice cream when he mentioned his aunt.

"Why isnt your aunt happy?" She asked.

Drake looks at the ceiling a minute and says, "My aunt had to give birth to my cousin all by herself and she knows what pain to expect with the birth. Not many can handle it." He looks at her belly with a smile, "We are connect to each other Brook. Your dreams are a part of your thoughts so yes I see them too."

Brook put down her icecream and looked up to him. "I am so sorry for your aunt" She chewed her lip. "So your Aunt doesnt think I can make it?" She winkled her brow and reached up and took his hand.

"Baby this is going to be hard to say and hard to hear" She had a flash of him leaping out the window and taking off again, angry at him. "But I need to say it" She rubbed her stomach softly. "If anything happens promise me that you will protect our babies" She couldnt look at him and she was tensed waiting to see what he would do.

Drake looks at her as her words sunk in. He held her hand and says, "You will be fine. The babies will make you strong. My cousin did not make her mother into a vampire until the last week of the pregnancy. So she endured a lot of pain." He kisses her neck gently and nips playfully at her soft skin.

Shaking her head he looked up at him and spoke silently "Please Drake just promise me, I need to hear your words that you will protect them from the shadows" She was of course talking about her dream of them being snatched from her and darkness covering her.

She licked her lips "Are the babies going to change me sooner?"

(Take your time hun.) Drake looks at her with a sigh and gets a hand mirror out of her bathroom and gives it to her. He says, "Your eyes are already turning gold like mine and you are becoming paler. You are becoming a vampire. It does not happen over night. But you do look different." He kisses her forhead and says, "I promise I will protect them."

When she saw him leave she felt a quick pang of panic. But he was back before she could get really panicked she took the mirror with a bit of confusion. She took the mirror and gasped. "Drake I look...." She didnt finish the statement she put the mirror back, she really couldnt think of the right word. She looked good, but so different too.

She smiled when he finally agreed to what she wanted "Thank you" She knew he wouldnt let anything happen to any of them but hearing that he would protect their babies just put her mind at ease.

She pulled him down and giggled. "So when I am as stong as you, and as fast as you, would you like a little competiion?"

She playfully hit him, "So are you saying that I wasnt attractive before?" She teased with a bit of a smile. She kissed him back softly. She liked teasing him and when he agreed to the competion, "Now what should it entail? I think some hunting, and some running, and I dont know what else"

She rubbed his arms. "So when do I stop eating?" She asked. "Like with the babies ever need blood while they are in me?"

Smiling a little Brook nodded "That is a good answer" She said. "If I do begin to crave blood, what kind is it going to be?" She shuddered "I know think with a huge belly if I should be hunting right?"

She sighed. She felt she was going to miss the taste of some food, but it was going to be worth it to be able to live with her love forever, and of course have her two babies. She rubbed her stomach again. She winced slightly as she felt them kick.

Drake looks at her and says, “When you start to crave blood, I will hook you up to an iv since you will still be human. The blood will be human blood until the babies are born, since the babies will be taking blood from you. Giving you human blood will keep you from getting weak. Then once the babies are born you will start to drink animal.”
