Brook nodded "Thats good" She sighed comfortably "Least I wont taste the blood right?" She said softly. "I mean if I never taste it maybe I will be less tempted by it" She stroked his face. "Even with me looking like this are you sorry that you met me, and talked to me that day?"

She licked her lips and sat up a bit too quickly and suddenly felt really dizzy "Okay so now quick movemnts" She muttered and then she looked at him. "And our children, will they eat real food or will they need blood or both?" She was beginning to get stressed again will all the stuff that needed to happen "Oh and would they ever sleep?"

Drake looks at her and he says with a soft huff, “Hun I am just as new to this as you are. I don’t know if they will just need blood or will be able to eat human food. Now please stop worrying so much.” He looks in her eyes as he starts calming her down with his powers. “They will be able sleep when they want.”

Brook wrinked her brow 'It is normal for new parents to be worried, just not all new parents are going to be partents of halflings so I have other concerens" She tried to glare at him but then he started to calm her down again. "I just slept for hours if you do that I am likely to fall asleep again" She shuddered and cuddled under the blankets more.

Drake looks at her a moment and says to her calmly, “Yes it is natural but not to worry as much as you are. Our babies are different than normal human babies. We can only worry if we have a reason to. Now go to sleep, the babies will be living off your energy until they are a bit older.” He goes to her bedroom window as he needed to feed.

"I am always a worrier" She whispered. She watched im and nodded. She snuggled into her bed and wrapped her arms around her cat. She watched him leave and sighed. She wanted to do some more research but found herself too tired.

She slept, this times the nightmares came back but it was Drake that was taken from her by the blackness. She didnt wake up but was mumbling his name.

Drake looks around as he hunted for a decent sized animal. He tenses up as he senses strange vampires in the woods with him. Before he knew what hit him three vampires were on him and smashing his body to bits. He could not be killed because of him being older than the ones who attacked him. But he did suffer a severe head wound. An hour after the attackers left him thinking he was no more, his body regenerated but his memories were gone. He woke up and held his head. He says, “Where am I?”

Sleepy soundly Brook woke up a little later hungry. She looked around a little nervous, but since she wasnt sure when she feel asleep she wasnt sure how long he had been gone so instead of worring she flipped on her computer and began to do some reasearch.

She kept looking up hoping to see him, then she began to panic again, had his mate that tried to kill her before find him and he choice her. She wanted to get up but she felt too dizy so laid down on her bed. She cuddled her cat. "What could be wrong kitty?" She said with tears in her eyes.

A few hours later Angie shows up in Brook’s window. “Has Drake been by since he went to feed? I was out hunting and saw an area that shows obvious signs of a vampire fight and the boys and I can’t find him anywhere.” She looked panicked and scared. She says, “Drake would never leave us or you after what happened. Something is seriously wrong.”

Brook had done a lot, she had done some more research which just freaked her out. The halflings always accidently killed their mother, and she couldnt find a single one that successfully carried twins. She rubbed her temples. Her pain was nearly unbearable since she had stoped taking her meds for fear of the babies.

She eventually was able to stand but was really busy. When Angie showed up Brook jumped about a foot in the air but when she spoke she collapsed to the ground. "No I havent" She said looking at her. "Where could he be?" She tried to stand. "I have to find him":

Angie goes to her side and says helping her up on her feet, “I don’t know where could be. But by all the damage I saw, he took a beating.” She sees the research on Brook’s computer and says, “You won’t find the truth about halfings on human websites Brook. Now we need to find Drake before something bad happens to him. The babies will help us find him.”

"Thank you" She said softly as Angie helped her up. She was trying to keep her heart beat slow, She felt as if she still had one but maybe it was the babies, no she was certain that change hadnt been completed.

Her mind was racing with all the info she was giving her. Drake, she couldnt live without him, she needed him, their babies needed him. She shook her head about the computer "I was worried, I knew I shouldnt have looked it up, just made me more stressed"

She nodded and looked to Angie. "Are you able to get us both out the window, I dont want my dad to see me leave at this hour" She held her stomach "Babies we need to find daddy" She whispered.

Angie looks at her and says, “I can fit us out the window problem. Just hold on to me and don’t look down.” She picks her up and jumps out the window landing on the ground with a smile on her face. She says, “We will start at where the fight took place. Angie carries her deep into the woods. She says as they look at bashed down trees and a fifty foot deep body shaped crater. Inside Brook’s head a baby boy’s voice says, “Daddy got up and went towards all the people mommy…”

Holding on to Angie she squeezed her eyes shut and held her breath until she heard a soft thud. She sighed. "Thank you" She noticed that she didnt put her down but for that she was gratful for Angie could run faster, even walk faster then Brook could run.

She saw all the damage and the tears started silently falling. She held a hand to her stomach. "Good son" She said softly. "We have to go to all the people" She looked at Angie, "Why would he go towards people, doesnt look like he was able to feed before he was attacked"

Angie tenses up and says, “Oh shit he went into town and he hasn’t fed. This is not good. We need to get him home before he accidently hurts someone out of hunger.” She picks Brook back up and runs her to Angie’s car. She puts her in the passenger’s seat. “Buckle up.” She gets in the driver’s seat. She takes off like a bat out of hell.

Looking frightened Brook knew what could happen if they didnt get to him intime. She was beginning to panic again once she was in the seat she buckled up and rubbed her tummy. "Babies its going to be okay, can you see daddy?" She said softly as the tears ran down her face.

"Angie please hurry" She said softly. She wasnt aware of how fast they were going it just felt slow. She was shaking. "Why would he go to people when he is hungry"

The babies say in her head at the same time, “Daddy seems confused and he is starving. Find him now mommy before he hurts someone.” Angie looks at her and says, “I am going as fast as the car can go.” Her sharp nails cut into the steering wheel and says, “He would not be there if he was thinking clearly. Something must be wrong with him.”

Brook looked at Angie "They say he is starving and confused, could someone hurt him so bad that he can get confused" She rubbed her temples wishing she could speak to him. But if he was confused she was too scared to speak to him.

"Angie if I speak to him will that scare him? Can you feel him?" She asked she continued rubbing her stomach. "Its going to be okay babies" She said softly. "What do you see now?"

Angie gets them in town and says, “Well if he is the one who was in that crater, I would say he has lost all of his memory and does not even know he is a vampire. If that is true, he won’t be afraid to kill a human.” She stops the car as she sees him and says, “Stay in here. The twins and I will have to get him. Him seeing you in his hungry state will be dangerous.” She gets out of the car as the twins start to follow and corner him slowly. Drake lunches himself at them but because he doesn’t know about his fighting skills. The twins tie him up with chains and puts him in the car.

Brook gasped "No memeory...that means" She shook her head. He wouldnt remember her or their babies. She rubbed her stomach and sighed. "Its alright he will remember" She promised more to them then to her. She didnt want to stay in the car until she was told it would be unsafe, that ment unsafe for her babies so she sat in the car weeping and holding on to her stomach.

She hadnt relized that the twins had been there but were now grateful for them. She watched as he was brought back in chains it broke her heart but she didnt look at him. Not wanting to tempt him more then he could handle.

Drake growls in hunger as they drive straight to their house instead of Brook’s. The twins drag him to a chair and tie him down. Angie inserts five ivs connected to animal blood bags in each arm. She says, “It will take a while for the blood to calm him down.” Drake yanks at the chains to get free to feed.

Brook did her trick to calm her breathing and heart beat to try to help Drake. She didnt look back to see him. She followed numbley and stood at a distance away while they tied him down and started the IVs she licked her lips and nodded as Angie stayed it would take a while for the blood to work. She watched Drake struggle brought a hand to her stomach and said softly "You did it my babies good job" She backed away a little wanting to make it easier for him.

"Angie what should I do?" She quietly asked.

Angie looks at her and says, “Don’t worry Brook, he just needs something trigger his memory.” Drake growls and yells, “Who the hell are you, people?” Chris growls back at him and whack him on the head gently. He says his voice is deeper than his brother’s, “That is no way to talk to people…” Connor laughs and says, “Easy brother, he can break…”

Brook nodded but winced as he growled again. "Maybe I should wait, I mean if he doesnt remember who he is he wont remember who I am and well" She rubbed her stomach "Who they are he might hurt us not knowing" She shook his head, seemed the children didnt like that idea they were both pitching a fit.

She rubbed her stomach. "Alright we will stay for a little bit" She whispered to them but then looked at Drake. "What the hell happened to him?" She ran a hand through her hair. "I didnt know your type could lose their memories"

Angie looks at her and says, “Well as old as Drake is, he is hard to kill and has a stronger healing ability. He must have taken quite a beating in order for him to lose all his memory.” Drake stares at Brook’s stomach as he can sense his children inside her. He says, “Why are my babies inside you?” His eyes are glued to her.

Brook listened to Angie and nodded. "But he is stronger so he can heal right?" She turned to Drake as he spoke to her. "You and I are" She paused "Well we are lovers" She rubbed her stomach "And you gave me twins" She looked him in the eyes "You will remember us I know it, you love me, my scars and all"
