Drake looks at her as she speaks about them being lovers. He knew she was telling the truth but he still could not remember her. He says to her trying to stay calm, “What am I? Why do I not remember anything?” The blood was getting into him so his eyes were going back to their normal hazel gold color and he did not look so pale.

Looking to Angie and the twins before continuing. "You are my lover and the father of my children" She took a step forward and sighed. "You are my savior, I was in a really bad accident, well two, but the last one you healed me in the hospital, I nearly died and would have if you didnt heal me"

She looked at him and wondered if she should go further and tell him that he was a vampire, before she relized that she thought it.

Drake looks at her as she mentions all the things he has done for her. He says, “Well it sounds like we are pretty happy together…” He hears her thoughts but does not realize he was too caught up in the idea that he is going to be a dad to notice it. He asks, “Who are you? I don’t remember your name?”

Brook took another step forward but was still a bit away from her as she couldnt stop the tears that fell silently down her cheek. "We are very happy" She said with a smile and showed him the ring. "You gave this to me" She did not mention when he left her, she didnt want to up set him more.

Drake smiles happily as she comes closer to him. He looks at the ring a moment and a small image comes to him. “I gave that to you before I talk to your dad about marrying you.” He winces as pain fills his head. “I want to remember more…But I can’t…I’m sorry…” He looked like he was about to cry even though he could not form tears.

Brook nodded. "Yes you gave me a ring, you said my father gave us his blessings" She took another small step towards him. She wanted to comfort him but it seemed like was a bit dangerous she looked at Angie "Can I touch him yet?"

She turned to the twins "What do you think?" She asked. She was crying harder now seeing her Drake like this.

Drake looks at her as she got closer to him. He struggles against the chains wanting to be close to her. Angie says while watching him closely, “He seems more himself now that he has blood in his system. I think it would be okay for you two to touch.” Chris says, “Angie’s right. He is more himself. His memories should return over time but it will cause him great pain.”

Brook sighed in relife she slowly walked towards him. Did her trick to slow her beating heart to try to make it easier for him. She knelt down and touched his face softly.

She hated hearing that he would be in great pain. She didnt like seeing anyone in pain never mind the love of her life. She stroked his cheek softly. Hoping that if something happened the twins would be able to stop him from killing her.

Drake leans into her touch and breathes calmly. He says, “I must have worried you like crazy.” Angie loosens the chains just enough so he could wrap his arms around her. He was shaking with anger and sadness. “I should be able to remember my own bride to be. What kind of boyfriend am I?” His voice was pained and filled with hate for him.

"I was just scared when I saw you like that, I just thought you were unbreakable" Feeling him shake Brook wasnt scared that he would hurt her. She silently cried and rested her head on his chest and allowed him to hold her. "Its alright Drake, I will help you remember" She looked up and softly kissed his lips.

"Dont talk like that" She said softly "You are the best boyfriend, you are sweet, and loving, and looked passed all my scars and my ugliness to see my soul and heart"

Drake holds her gently as he feels her cry. “My love I’m not going to go anywhere without you again. I woke up in the woods not knowing who or where I was. I think I was supposed to return to you but I wandered into town instead. I am sorry.” He gently strokes her cheek and asks, “Are you and the babies okay?”

Brook didnt say anything she didnt know if he could take knowing what he was just yet. She looked up at him with a bit of a smile. "You just got lost sweetie its okay, after all your male and probably didnt want to ask for directions" She was trying to make light of it. She had her Drake back and thats all that mattered. She kissed him again and gentley took his hand to her stomach so he could feel them move.

Drake feels the babies kick his hand as soon as he touched her stomach. His eyes light up and he gets a huge smile on his face. “I think they know it is me touching them.”

Brook nodded. "Of course they do" She wish she could tell the babies not to tell him what he was but if she thought it the Drake would hear it. She simply let him touch her stomach. "You can talk to them" She said softly. They would take it slow. she didnt want to rush him.

"We were thinking that there is two, you gave me twins" She said with a smile. "After my accident I didnt think anyone would look at me like that again ,but you did, and you dont even see my ugly scars when you see me do you?"

Drake looks in her eyes and kisses her gently on the lips. "After my accident I didn’t think anyone would look at me like that again, but you did and you don’t even see my ugly scars when you see me do you?" Book asked him and he thought about it for a few minutes. He says, “Scars are nothing to base your feelings on. Everyone has them in a form.” He looks down at her wrists as he feels the scars on them. “I caused you to do this to yourself didn’t I?”

Surprised but happy that he kissed her Brook smiled again and enjoyed the kiss. She looked down a a little when he was silent. She grew nervous maybe he really hadnt seen them until she pointed them out. When he finally spoke again she looked him in the eyes.

"Thank you babe" She kissed him again. When she felt his hands on her scars her heart sank. When he asked that question she pulled her hand away and covered the scars. How to explain to him that he had left her and had taken her memories. She looked up to the twins and Angie for help.

Drake looks at her as she pulled her hands away that gave him his answer. Angie says, “A few months ago you accidently bit and fed from her. Thinking you were a threat to Brook, you eased her memories of you and made all of us leave town. She started hurting herself to deal with the unknown pain of not having you near her.” He tenses up as he hears this and holds his head in pain.

As Angie told him what had happened Brook bit her lower lip. She hated herself but she had to admit that she had done it, why she couldnt pull herself out of her deppression was beyond her. She looked up at him "Drake, it was somthing I started in the hopsital to deal with the guilt of surviving the acident when my sister didnt"

She stroked his cheek. "You came back though and saved me"

Drake grips his head tighter as he looks at her. “How can you say I saved you? I caused you to do that to yourself!” He falls to his knees holding his head as pain coursed through him. The twins go to his side and gently help him to his room upstairs. Angie looks at Brook and says, “He will be fine with time.”

Shaking her head Brook still crying looked at him "You came back, I was in a horrible accident, again," She paused "I am thinking my truck was tampered with since its suppose to be the safiest and it flipped"

She stroked his cheek "I was suppose to die but you came back and healed me" Seeing him like this was really upsetting her she stood and nodded to Angie "Would it be best if I wasnt here, I hate seeing him in pain"

Angie looks at her with a huff and says, “Feeling the pain will help him remember you, his family, and his unborn babies. He will be able to accept things he put on hold. It is not just you he will have to remember though. He will have to remember being forced to become a vampire by his own father, losing his mother, all the wars, and everything. He will need you more than anyone else in the world.”

Nodding to what Angie was saying Brook returned to Drakes feet and wrapped her arms around him. "I love you drake with all that I am, the next little bit is going to be tough but I am going to be right here beside you every step of the way"

She looked up at Angie and pointed to her stomach as if asking her ideas to keep the babies fed at the same time, she was thinking they still needed food and not blood yet/

Angie looks at Drake as he looked like a lost child. She has the twins take him to his room to rest. She then takes Brook’s hand and takes her to the kitchen. She says calmly, “Drake had us stock up on food for you. If you wanted to come here, he wanted you to feel at home here.” She looks around sadly. “You are lucky you know. You get to have babies and grow old if you want to.”

Brook watched helplessly as the twins took Drake away. Still frowning she walked with Angie. "Thank you" She said softly and ate the food slowly. She wasnt eating for herself but for the babies she knew they needed the stength.

Looking up at Angie she sighed. "I love your brother and I love you guys" She sighed. "I dont want to grow old I want to be with Drake for all my exisitance, even if he never remembers me, but if I am too painful for him I will" She looked up at her. "Drake took my memories once, if this is too painful for him can you do the same for him?" The tears were streeming down her face now.

Angie looks at her considering her idea but then she shakes her head. “You need to calm down. Yes trying to remember hurts him now but it does get easier. When I was coming around you when he took your memories, you got better. He will get better too. It just takes time. He wants to remember you. Despite all the pain, he wants to remember.”
