splashing him again she shrugged." i have plenty of pants. considering the soldiers just love to rip theirs to bits. so relax.. get back up here then. dont want to have to go swimming after you if you pass out in the water." she wanted to see him shift. figure out why it hurt so much for him.

He laughed slightly..."Alright then." He says as he got back up on the rock..."I figured you would be freaked about this alittle." He says as he leaned back on his arms.

she rolled her eyes and pointed to herself.'' dragon .. remember? .. nothing freaks me out. i am not a mere human who goes nutso over every strange thing they see . '' she couldn't believe he just said she should freak out over it. she had an urge to shove him back in the water again but refrained, last thing she wanted to do was drown the help.

'' and you didn't freak out when i shifted so .. fair is fair.. besides your not the strangest thing i have seen, trust me. .. how many people know about you like this?"

'' you are one of a kind of a halfling yes. maybe.. who knows.. could be others out there that don't have this... ability... maybe they can't shift?" she shrugged studying him. He shook his head..."nope your the only dragon that knows....it was dragons that killed my parents.." he says as he cocked his head to the side. "I guess we are even..." he says with a smile ..."its about that time..." he muttered

she frowned'' and why would dragons kill your parents?" now that was something she was interested in. sighing she moved a little closer to him just so she could catch him if she had to.. '' one of these days your gonna have to learn to control that.. .. and don't tell me you can't because any creature can control a shift if they find the trigger.''

He looked to her and frowned slightly before leaning over and wincing.."the said I was an abomination...and that elementals and dragons should never breed.." he says threw gritted teeth as he bones began snapping breaking in places all over some places the bones would break threw his skin. He cried out in agony his face going white before his eyes rolled back and he lost consciousness. His body continuing to shift back.

she winced, hearing the snaps and screams before reaching over to grab him to keep him from sliding in the water, she thought he had been kidding when he said the change was bad, but she could see it. sighing she waited for it to finish before she slid into the water, sliding her arms around him and pulled him against her.

Apparently she was still learning about her dragon heritage and being told that other dragon's thought him an abomination was definitely something new.. Then again she had been on her own for a long time. bringing him to the the bank of the lake she slid his arm around her neck, her arm around his waist and hauled him up, Glad she was no mere human or this would be impossible due to his size and weight.

By the time she got him back to her tent, the soldiers already had food waiting for her and him. Ignoring most of the soldiers as she took him inside and laid him down on the fur bedding. not caring that he had still been wet, the fur would dry.

She was normally not nice and would just leave him there but she needed something to do while she waited for him to wake so took a towel and patted him dry , removing any bit of mud and such she found before pulling a blanket up over to about his waist. Once that was done she changed yet again into dry clothing and brought over a plate full of meats and fruits with a large mug of a mixed alcoholic drink. mostly rum just in case he needed to be warmed from the inside out. Settling down next to him she relaxed and played the waiting game as she picked at pieces of the food, selecting a few bits of cheese and meat's to munch on .

After a good 30 minutes his eyes opened and he sat up slowly looking around..he wasn't use to being moved and the change of surrounding threw him off. After realizing where he was he looked over seeing her.."oh hey.." he says as he stretched his arms..it seemed like every joint crackled..."sorry about that..." he says as he laid back down rolling to his aide and facing her.

she looked over at him arching a brow as his whole body practically cracked. '' nothing to be sorry about.. you don't see me pissed off at it do you ?" shrugged as she pushed the plate full of food at him.. '' fruits, meats, bread and cheese if you want.. oh and drink.. how are you feeling?'' she had also spent her time rounding up some clothing for him, black and brown leather pants with white silk shirts, whichever he wanted, it had taken her a while to get them anyways. '' is it always like that?"

'' watched him eat even as she placed the large mug of drink in front of him before laying back,picking up a strip of tender jerky and chewed on it thoughtfully. '' your welcome.. lemme know if your still hungry.. heh and it takes alot to piss me off. '' smiled, studying him still. '' any other magic?,.. does your magic even grow?"

He smiles as he took the drink nearly downing the whole thing before he slowed down his eating..."up every time I use it it gets stronger..." he says as he stopped eating when he was full.."im surprised I didn't piss you off with all the shit i did.." he says

' want more?.. and thats good.. the more your powers grow perhaps the more easier it will be to control that shifting of yours?.. its the same with dragons and since your part dragon it should work.. though this is a theory so don't hold my word for it. '' reached over and picked up a large pitcher of the drink and poured it into his cup. '' annnd.. bringing that tent down on me pissed me off too.. few of the soldiers got a good ass kicking for it, so if they are pissed at you , thats why. ''

When she poured him some more he downed half of it.."well at least you didn't kill me..." he says as he then shook his head.."that's great...just what I need...a group of soldiers jumping me or something." he says..."sorry for stabbing you in the foot though.."

'' pointed to her foot then grinned '' nah you don't have to worry about that. they won't touch you unless i order it.. they will just give you the evil eye or something.. oooor.set you up to fall in a hole for a night.. men are really sneaky about paybacks.. like i said.. why would i kill someone i want help from?...... don't drink too much or you will be drunker then a skunk on hormones'' teased, putting the pitcher down as she rolled on her side to face him, holding her head up with her hand as she picked up a cheese bit and popped it in her mouth.. '' how good are you at sneaking into places?"

He sat his drink down and cocked his head to side..."if I don't wanna be found I won't be found." he says answering her question.

'' is there a certain time this change happens?... . i need all the information i can get cause if you help me out i don't need you getting into a sudden change right into the middle of the thing.. could get you killed. '' shrugged, taking a drink out of the mug as well .. '' relax.. i will tell them not to mess with you. .. if they want a bit of a fight then maybe you and the lot can take it out in the training fields. ''

'' she was multitasking a bit, talking to him as well as planning on how they where going to be doing this. '' think it will be fun to be friends.. ... ever ride a dragon?" grinned, knowing that could be taken in two different ways. dirty minuted or actually doing the riding on a dragon.
