Nate looks at him with a smile and says, “No you are considerate of the needs of others. So you don’t sound like a sob. I am well off too so I understand.” He looks at the sky a moment and says, “I am going to spend a lot of time at the beach. My sister gets a lot of inspiration from the ocean and we enjoy the feeling of peace it gives us.”

Feeling relived that Nate didnt see him as a snob Justin sighed. "The beach sounds good too" He smiled again. "I am not sure how well my sister is going to be this summer, I think this summer should be better, or at least I hope so"

He looked over at Nate then blushed again. It kinda sounded like he had invited himself to the beach too. He hoped that Nate didnt think he had done so to be rude. He just liked the beach idea too.

Nate looks at him and says, “Maybe if the four of us got together at the beach both of the girls would feel comfortable being outside the home.” He did not think Justin was rude at all. He liked his company and he did not feel so alone around him.

Justin smiled "Yes that does sound good" He looked up to the sky and sighed. "My sister would love to met her favorite author" Then he chuckled "My whole family might want to come, but they are good for the most part" He then licked his lips. He liked being with Nate, it was nice to have someone that understood.

He of course was nervous about making a mistake though, but that was just a left over from his life, always on edge worried about screwing up and getting punished.

Nate could sense something was making Justin nervous. He says, “You need to relax a bit more Justin. You are not going to make a mistake or get punished. I don’t run away from people easily even if they make me upset or something.” He looks at him a moment. “Your family is not bad. If my sister is okay with it, then they all could come.”

Justin sighed "Old habbits die hard I guess" He sat up and pulled out all the food "You would think my mom thought she was going to fed an army" He chuckled softly.

"Well we would have to make sure our sisters are okay with it they seem to be so similar, I am sure that they will get along when they finally met"

Nate looks at all the food Justin's mother had made. He says, "This is nothing compared to all the desserts my sister makes when she is upset. You would swear a whole team of bakers were in the kitchen instead of it just being my sister." He takes a bite of some food. He swallows and says, "I know. If I did not know any better I could swear they were sisters."

Grinning Justin looked to Nate. "Ohh Desserts are my favorite" He then smiled again "I know it doesnt look like it" He motioned to his body. "I need to stay fit to be able to stay on the team" He ate a bit and sighed

"This place is so peaceful thank you for bringing me" He sighed again. "Once they met maybe it will help both of them" He said hopefully.

Nate looks at him with a smile and says, “I understand the whole keeping in shape thing. I used to play sports before everyone figured out I am into guys.” He eats his food a moment to give him time to think. He says, “You are quite welcome Justin. You are the only I have been able to bring up here.” He smiles at the thought of the girls meeting. “I think it would help them both be themselves again.”

Justin grew angry "Are you saying they cut you because of who you like man that just anit right" He sighed "They try to cut me from the swim team, said it would make them feel all uncomfortable. but I thrented to take it to court, and they dropped it."

He grinned "I would like to see my sister happy again"

Nate nods and says, “Yeah I was kick out of all my sports actives because of me being into men. But it does not matter I got to spend time helping my sister get published.” He looks at him and chuckles at the slight anger he could see in his eyes. He kisses him on the cheek and says, “Calm down I don’t miss any of the sports.”

Justin was still angry that he had been let go it just wasnt right. He took a deep breath when he talked about his sister. He was about to coment again when Nate kissed him. He blushed a deep red and turned his face away then quickly kissed him back on the cheek, "Thank you" He whispered.

Nate smiles happily and says, “You’re welcome Justin…” He looks at the time and tenses up as it was getting late and he still had not received a call from Rain saying that she was woken up okay. He says, “I am sorry Justin but I need to get home. My sister usually calls me to let me know the maid has woke her up by now. But she hasn’t and that’s got me worried.

Justin sat up quickly and bite his lip "Of course" In a flash he was packing up his food and had packed everything up "Okay I am ready lets go" He looked over at him. 'Should my eldest brother go there, he is trained paramedic" He had his phone open and ready to dial just waiting for Nate's choice.

Nate nods and says, “Yes please I am really worried about her.” He starts to hike down the path to the car. Meanwhile back out at Nate’s place, Rain was covered in her blood. She looks around not seeing any of her attackers any more. She slowly tries to find a phone of some sort. Her school was torn and bloody as her deep knife wounds start to bleed again. The house trashed and every window is broken.

Justin hit a button on the phone. " Jack its Justin" there was a slight pause "No time for that get to Nates house," He gave the address "Something is wrong better get a bus there too" He said quickly. "Nate does your sister have any medical conditions?" He was bascally yelling the questions and instructions.

His brother on the other hand had called the bus (ambulance) to the address and he was racing there himself.

Nate shakes his head and says, “No she can have any meds the docs give her. She is the healthier one of the two of us.” Rain tenses up as she hears the bus pull in. The paramedic team get to her and put her on a stretcher as they try to get the bleeding to stop. They get her in the bus and try to get her to the hospital quickly. It was obvious that she had be sexually assaulted and left for dead.

Knowing that Nate was in no shape to drive Justin took the keys and picked up his ringing phone. "They are taking Rain to the hosptial" The voice said, it was his brother, Justin spoke quickly "Okay thank you we will be right there" Justin tore off towards the hosptial and not Nate's home, he was worried how he would react but he would deal with that when ithappened.

Nate was in a mental panic. He needed to be by his sister’s side but instead he was flirting with a new friend. When they arrived at the hospital, Rain was just getting out of surgery. She was all black and blue along with very pale and weak. Nate was still panicking like crazy as he followed her into a private room to rest.

Justin parked and rushed into the hospital his brother was in the waiting room. Justin let Nate be with his sister and he hung back. "It was bad bro, I have been to bad calls and this one tops them all, I dont know how your friend knew but any more time and she could have been lost"

Just slumped down in a chair. "Its my fault, I should not have asked to go hiking" He sighed and his brother sat bedside him and put his arm around him.

Nate cries at his sister's bed side until he falls asleep. When morning came, Rain wakes up and looks around. She winces as she sits herself up and looks at her beaten body. Tears go down her face as she cries out her anger. Nate wakes up and looks at her with new tears forming in his eyes. He says, "I am so sorry..."

Justin had spent the night in the hospital, slipping into Rains room when Nate was asleep and watched both of them. He blamed himself, his brother tried to remind him that one of the only reasons why she was alive is because Justin had thought of calling EMS but there was no comforting him. He had sent flowers to her room and was standing outside with coffee, but didnt want to distrub them so instead asked the Nurse to bring it in for him and his sister while he waitied outside.

He had also arranged to have what ever there insurance wouldnt pay to be paid for. Anything he could do to help.

Nate leaves the room at Rain's request and goes to get some coffee. When he came back he sat next to Justin. He says, "Rain will be okay. She is very strong willed." He looks at him a moment. "I do not blame you, you know." He takes his hand slowly and kisses his middle knuckle as a strange way of thanks.

Justin had his head down, when Nate came up he nearly started crying again. He bite his lower lip to stop them. He looked up at him and tried to smile. He sighed when Nate siad that he didnt blame Justin, it ddint take it away but he nodded. "I am glad she is doing better"

A nurse and a sucurty officer came the nurse smiled to Justin then turned to Nate. "Some good news, I am not sure what your insurance is, but what ever isnt covered some one has stepped forward to pay the rest."

Then the sercurty officer stepped up. "Also there will be a officer with your sister, until her attacker is caught, or she dismisses us"

Justin tried to keep stoned faced to hide the fact that his family was the one that was doing this.

Nate looks at woman as she explained what was happening money wise for them. He gives her a nod of thanks before looking at Justin a moment. He waits for her to leave before speaking again. He says, "You and your family did not have to help us." He tenses up as he hears Rain weakly calling for him after her nurse had finished helping her. He goes back in there with sad eyes. Rain says, "I am sorry I messed u your guys date..." He says, "It's fine love." She says weakly, "They thrashed our home and took my computer. Good thing I finished my book early."
