Four thousand years into the future, vampires are born and have come to exist among the humans. They are described as dark creatures that seduce and drink the blood of man. Never have their attacks been predictable. They lives in clans and have all the members of their convent under one roof, as though they are a big royal family.

Vampires do as they wish to the humans around them. They don’t care whether they turn, drain, or enslave the humans. They truly love to enslave human as play things. As the new millennia nears, a new chapter unfolds in the vampires’ lives begins along with a new destiny.

One night during feeding time for the vampires, a young girl is walking home from work. The vampire lord, Kage was following her every move. The girl reminded him of his daughter that he lost many years ago. The girl was oblivious that he was following her. She walked for a little while longer, before Kage grabbed her from behind.

He put a hand over her mouth and whispered in her ear, “Don’t scream child. I don’t plan on hurting you very long.” He turned the girl around so she was facing him. The girl’s eyes showed him that she was scared, but she did not say a word or try to run. She seemed to be captivated by him.

The girl asks, “What do you want?” Kage asks, “How would you like to live forever?” The girl says, “I don’t know.” Kage put an arm around her waist and said, “Come on child. Life as a mortal must be rough on you.” The girl says, “I must say life can be rough, but it’s worth it.” Kage gently grinded his teeth against her neck and smiled some as blood began to trickle down her neck.

The girl screamed softly and Kage sunk his teeth into her neck. He began to drink her blood as he held her close to him so she could not get out of his grip. The girl had tears going down her face. The girl says, “Please stop…it hurts.” Kage tightened his grip and growled against her neck possessively.

Soon the girl fainted at the loss of blood and Kage carried her back to the clan home after he gave her some his blood. She felt so light in his arms. Kage carried her up to her own room and laid her in the bed. He whispers, “Welcome to your new home Thera.”

Three nights after Kage had turned the girl, she grew accustom to being called her new name. She walked beside Kage as she was introduced to the clan. The clan quieted down as they entered the room. Kage says to them, “Hello everyone, I would to introduce to you your new princess.”

Thera stepped out from behind Kage and said, “Hi I’m Thera.” Her blue eyes were colder than the other vampires. Kage looked at the other vampires as they looked at Thera. Thera did seem to be colder than the rest of them, but that was to be expected. Kage did force her to become a vampire.

Thera walked down to all the clan members and began to learn about the clan. She did enjoy being a vampire, but hated the fact that could she not do as she wanted. Her blue eyes searched the clan for someone to talk to.

Raven sat in the back of the room gazing around at all the vampires in the clan..He hated being here more then anything. In truth he was the second elder being jsut a year under Kage. Raven glanced over at the girl who called her self thera his eyes locking on to hers gor a moment. He then motioned for her to come over to him...He didn't have any friends really...So why not start making a new one today. His eyes then glanced back down at the small glass of blood he was drinking not even looking up to see if she was comming.

Thera locked eyes with Raven. She then saw him motion her to come join him. She walked slowly over to him slowly. Her white hair covered her eyes a bit. Thera shyly sat down a few feet away but still beside him. She was not sure what to say. She looked around at the other vampire and looked down sadly.

Raven looked over at her seeing the sad and cold look in her eyes..."He forced you didn't he...." He muttered in disgust..."That fool keeps breaking all the laws....I'll have to have a talk to him some time..." He muttered as he looked over to her his face always kept a cold emotionless look. "My names Raven...2nd in command here.." He says to her as he bowed slightly. "I'm sorry you had to go threw all of this." He muttered. "It gets eaiser as you go on....I promise you that."

Thera looks at him and nods saying, "Kage named me Thera. He did force me to be turned. I don't know why he made me his daughter though." She gave him a slight bow out of respect and said, "It's nice to meet you Raven." She tried to act happy, but she could not fake it. Kage watched her closely from his seat.

He looks over to her. "The reason he changed you is because you remind him of his daughter he lost many years ago..."I'm sorry about all of this.." He says as he looked over glancing over at Kage his emotions still not changing..."I could over throw him you know...Take over his reign very eaisly...Since day one I've been stronger..." He muttered as he looked over to her...If you wish to leave you can..I won't stop you and I'll make sure no one else does.." He says

Thera looks at the floor and asks, "If you're that strong than why hasn't you over thrown him already?" She relaxes some as she tries to be as nice as she can. Thera looks at him and says, "I can't leave here. I have nowhere to go. But I do wish I could go check on my human family. It bothers me so much not knowing how their doing." Kage glared at Raven as he could hear every world they say to each other.

He looks over to her..."Never really had a reason to..But hes broken so many laws by forcing you to turn..." He says as he looked over at Kage as he glared. "I have a small coven of my own....You can go there..." He say as he then blinked slightly..."The I'll escort you to their place...And you can check up on them..." He says as he looked over at Kage once more before looking over to he with a slight smile..."I've always wanted to fuse my coven with this one."

Thera looked at Kage with a deadly glare. That made him look away. She says, "Okay..." Her voice still ice cold and deadly. She thinks, "As soon as I am free, I am going to see my family." She bit her hard enough to draw blood. She has so rage inside her.

He looked over to her cocking his head to the side. "He really angers you doesn't he...I just wish I could have been there...I would have stopped him...Then you could go on and live a normal life." He says to her as he looked over at Kage. "I'm going to kill him tonight..." He says not really caring if Kage heard or not.

Thera says, "You have no idea how much he angers me." She looks at him a moment after he said he was going to kill Kage tonight. She says, "If you do that, that will make me in charge of the coven. Originally it would have gone to you, but he had that changed when he brought me here."

He looks over to her..."yes that is very true...It would be your coven to do with what you please." He says as he looked over at Kage..."I'm doing this for you then." He says as he looked back over to her. "They will all follow you..." He says

Thera asks, "Would you being willing to help me learn how to rule a coven? I have no idea how to." She kept her voice calm. She wanted to lead the vampire world on a new path. She just did not know how she was going to do it.

He looks over to her and nodes. "It would be my pleasure to show you." He says as he looked around the room. "Its pretty easy...Just might be stressfull sometimes." He says with as he cocked his head once more. "I think you'll do great."

Thera smiled some and then looked at Kage. She gave him a death glare and he looked away from her in fear. Thera stood up since she was tired of just watching the other vampires dance. She asks while streching her hand out to him, "Mind dancing with me Raven?"

Raven looks up at her and cocked his head to he side looking at her extended hand. "I'd love too." He says as he stood up taking her hand and letting her lead him to the dance floor.

Raven stood up taking her hand and letting her lead him to the dance floor. Thera smiles and leads him to the dance floor. The music was soft and slow as they began to dance together. The other vampires stared at them in amazement. No had ever gooten Raven to do anything that the coven was doing.

Raven could fell all the eyes on both of them. "Well every one seems to be amazed." He says as he moved her closer to him as they danced to the slow music. "Well I would have to say this is the first time I'v danced in about 800 years." He says with a slight chuckle

Thera smiles and says, "Could of fooled me. You dance as though you've done it all your life." She was in a good mood since she was turned into a vampire. Her eye color turned to a deep purple color. She was unsure why this man could put her mean side at ease.

He smiles slightly for the first time in a very very long time.."Thank you..Your not too bad your self." He says as he continued to dance with her. "So would you mind telling me about your former life?" He asks her curiously.

Thera was happy to see him smile. She has always been good at getting boys to smile. "So would you mind telling me about your former life?" Raven asks her curiously. She says, "My real name was Scarlet. I have seven older brother and just my mother. My father died many years ago. My family has always lived outside the city. The night Kage made me into a vampire was the first time I had been in this city."

He looked to her shakin his head slightly..."I'm sorry...I really am...You left a pretty big family behind..." He says as he continued to dance with her. "I'm sure they wouldn't mind a visit from you every now and then." He says

Thera says, "My brothers will be able to keep our small farm going untill I see them again." She thought about some things in her past. She says, "They are going to go nuts when they think I have abandoned them. Do you think they would want to see me now that I am a vampire?"

"Its hard telling really...You never know..I was forced to leave the first day i was turned.." He says as he cocked his head to the side..."I'm sure your family won't mind though." He says with a slight smile. "I think they will accept you..They would be fools if they don't you are family." He says

Thera smiles and says, "I can see my mother accepting me as a vampire. My brothers on the other hand, is another thing. My father was killed by a vampire the night I was born. The vampire was after me for some reason, I was just a baby. So my brothers try so hard to protect me. When they find out I was turned into a vampire, they'll probably feel like they failed me."
